Where is My Trust?

God is kind and knows what I need.

God is loving and He cares for me.

God is patient and allows hard things in my life so I will lean more on Him.

Do I believe this?

In going through a box last night, I found an old letter from my cousin who has walked the road of cancer. At the end of her letter, she included two verses and I would like to share them here along with one I found yesterday morning. Perhaps they will encourage someone today.

Psalm 62:5-8
Yes, my soul, find rest in God;
    my hope comes from him.
Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
    he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
My salvation and my honor depend on God;
    he is my mighty rock, my refuge.
Trust in him at all times, you people;
    pour out your hearts to him,
    for God is our refuge.

Psalm 143:8-10
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,
    for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
    for to you I entrust my life.
Rescue me from my enemies, Lord,
    for I hide myself in you.
10 Teach me to do your will,
    for you are my God;
may your good Spirit
    lead me on level ground.

Psalm 138:8
The Lord will perfect that which concerns me;
Your mercy, O Lordendures forever;
Do not forsake the works of Your hands.

A New Adventure

Life has taken many turns, new adventures pop up surprisingly in unexpected places and in unsuspecting moments. I'm walking God's path, it's full of freedom and grace. Won't you join me?

Lately I've been challenged regarding the words I say. How easy it is to let words fly, only to wish them back moments later.

Ephesians 4:29 "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen."

Lord, let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to You! Psalm 19:14
